Powering your dreams.
We pursue the investment policy on behalf of our members — investing contributions prudently in identified ventures to maximise returns.
Established to invest on behalf of members
Kencom Sacco was established in 1994 with a mandate to cater for the needs of KCB employees and its corporate entities — mobilising savings, providing affordable credit, and engaging in investment ventures. Under the Sacco umbrella several investment projects succeeded, including the Runda Project and land sales in Kisumu, Mavoko, Karen and Kitengela.
A change in the Saccos Act required Saccos to focus on core activities and move away from non-core investment activity. This led to the establishment of the Kencom Investment Cooperative Society Limited (KICS) in 2016 to pursue the investment policy on behalf of members.
Leveraging previous projects executed under Kencom Sacco, KICS invests in real estate development, buying and selling of land, and money markets — for the overall satisfaction of its stakeholders. Collectively we can be that great future we all aspire to be.
